I was actually referring to the fact that the top of the actual box set is cut off in the image. The bottom part of that image shows the angles as if you were looking at it from the upper left side.

Honestly, I don't know why I even mentioned it, it just bugged me at the time.

Don Rosa Library Volume 3 "Treasure Under Glass" is now on Amazon, albeit without any cover art, set to be released next year.

Seems like a good list of potential titles! I wonder how they will handle the 'Life of Scrooge' series exactly. Will they increase the page count for that volume to get in all of the original chapters PLUS the (likely) large amount of bonus material? Or will they split them up into two volumes and allow non-Lo$ stories to fill out the page count in the second book? The Hall of Fame books took the latter approach but personally I would love it if they could do all of Lo$ in one book - if there's any volume deserving of super-size treatment, it's that one! I'm sure most fans would be willing to pay a few $$$ more to get the whole saga in one spot, especially considering the prices the out-of-print versions are commanding.
Of course the above only applies to the original chapters. I think it's safe to say the side-chapters like "The Vigilante of Pizen Bluff" and "The Prisoner of White Agony Creek" will be presented in the order that Mr. Rosa wrote them, as they should be. While I hated the fact that he hung up the mantle, I always thought "The Prisoner of White Agony Creek" was a wonderful coda to Mr. Rosa's duck career, and should be presented last.

On their Facebook-page; Fanta announced today that the 2nd Rosa-volume will contain (among other stories) "A Matter of Some Gravity". This story was published later, I thought this series was supposed to be chronological?

I got my signed copy of volume 1 from the Fantagraphics Kickstarter in the mail on Monday and am thrilled to have such a beautiful edition! I've been carrying it around with me everywhere. I'm really excited for this collection as I've only ever read about 50% of Don's stories.
These Fantagraphics collections are things I've always dreamed about since seeing the Another Rainbow advertisements for the black and white Carl Barks library back in the Gladstone comics in the '80s. I'm finally getting all this amazing material...Gottfredson, Barks, and Rosa are the trifecta for me and I never would've fallen in love with Disney comics and discovered Barks and Gottfredson if it wasn't for Don Rosa.

Volume 2 hit comic shops today, and it's fantastic! Found myself especially excited to see how well "On A Silver Platter" came out, it's always been one of my favourite stories that never gets reprinted much. Don always says how much of a challenge gag stories are to him, but his Magica shorts have always been proof that he's certainly pumped out some good riots anyway. They'd make a terrific collection by themselves even.
I also saw the box set on the Diamond shipping list, but I didn't see any at my store so I can't verify. Could be out there!
