I knew they where going to do that the moment I already paid for the pre-order of the first book!!!

Looks like I will have to end up with 2 copies of volume 1

I am really keen to get into Fanta's EC collection, but being a bit late to to party fortunately noticed they announced box sets for them. So those that bought early can't buy an empty box or otherwise have to re-buy what they already have if the want the cases. But seeing they already have announced or released 10 books, only the first 4 are available in the 1st box set, and no news when the 2nd box set will be announced.

Great news. I just canceled my pre-order or Volume 1 and pre-ordered this box set.

I wish I could cancel my pre-order, but I went with Book Depository instead of Amazon and they take the money when you pre-order. The only upside is that I will have 5 or 6 months worth of reading the first volume before getting a duplicate book.

That's what I like at Amazon. You pay when the book is shipped. So you can cancel the order at any time and you get the lowest price (since you pre-ordered).

Yeah! But being an Aussie, Amazon don't have any free shipping and Book Depository quote their prices shipping included to Australia. And Amazon can let you down on packaging some times. (Damage, etc)

skritter, if you use the contact form and select "I would like to cancel my order" as the subject from the dropdown list, you should get a full PayPal or CC refund within a few hours. They have the box set on sale, too, including free world-wide shipping.

Thanks for that, canceled my preorder for the first Rosa book, and added this instead.

I don't think the boxset is worth the wait. It's 4 months after the release of the first volume, right? I don't think I could wait haha.

I'm sure I couldn't wait, either, but I already have those stories in comics so it won't be as tough and I have grown to really like boxed sets.

Yeah, I own or have read all the stories in volume one many times. Actually, I've probably read most of the ones in volume 2 as well.

Are these stories presented in any logical order--as in chronologically as they were done by Rosa? The Amazon description is very vague.
Ramapith
They're being presented chronologically, but in publication order (not creation order)??as Don Rosa told us he preferred.
One correction that isn't up on Amazon yet: the book description alludes to "Crocodile Collector," but that story actually isn't in our first volume anymore. (The Amazon description dates from when our series was going to run at nine volumes??we've since expanded it to ten and made the books slightly shorter, so they can be physically larger in size.)
