I don't really have time to draw Asterix. I have tonnes of Disney stories I'm working on with several artists, and am under a lot of pressure. I only drew that for some German friends' son, who likes Asterix. I've only drawn him 3 times in my life.
Yes, Uderzo has finally trained a new artist to take over the helm, and, I believe there is also a new writer. It should be interesting. The new art looks very close to the original.

I??ve made a lot of drawings since my last visit.
I made a cover drawing (in the style of the Dutch Donald Duck weekly magazines) with Donald as a magician. The idea is from an old cover by Endre Lukács: http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=HC+DD1954-09
