It has been getting better though, if I compare this to my inking from a few months ago, I can see it clearly. Still it's not really where I want it to be.. Doing fast strokes really works for me, I just don't have the confidence yet, I'm too afraid to mess up my pages. When I'm practicing inking becomes a lot more fun:

Sanoma didn't mention my inking in particular, but that's no reason to be satisfied right?

I'm sure, as with most artists, your penciling will be accepted before your inking. But, to be honest, although your inking could be a lot better, I could see it being used even as is. Surprisingly, there is a lot of poor staging, penciling and inking out there among the published pages, because it comes from low-cost sources. I'm not fond of most of Comic-Up's work, nor of most of the Spanish artists Egmont uses. I'd rather look at your work than the afore-mentioned, or even that of the inconsistent Sander Gulien. So, keep working on your skills and you will be a fine addition to Sanoma's artist corps.

Reminds me of a pic I drew a few months ago. It's a cover for "The Health Nut". I wanted to use the Dutch title (De Gezondsheidmaniak, which I actually made up, since there is no Dutch title), but accidentally ended up mixing it with the German title (Der Gesundheitsapostel). Or more specifically, I translated the German title into Dutch.
