Hope you like it...

I'm sorry. But I believe that pencil sketch (being sold on e-Bay) was drawn by Bob Moore, and NOT by Carl Barks, It was for a Duck Album story in the mid 1950s (not written nor drawn by Carl Barks. It looks NOTHING like Carl Barks' work. It was drawn by Bob Moore. And, as such, wouldbe worth a lot less money than art drawn by Barks. And yet, the seller advertises it as by Barks, and will be getting more than he/she should from an unsuspecting buyer. Someone should inform him/her of that fact.

Of course it is not a Barks' one! I put it there (next to a couple of real ones) to show that there is still people that take advantage from Barks' name and sells other's people drawings. In this case a Bob Moore's one. Sorry, I thought that the "can you believe it?" gave my skepticism away.

Also having created this fuss I realized that I should not have put this OT here.
It will not happen again.

That coloured sketch looks very lovely McDuck Menu. The choice of colours really fits the mood.

I just publish another comic strip on my blog and this one is a Disney/Disneyland satire - it have my heroes go to a "Disneyland build in Poland" (which turn out to be as crappy as it can be) As usuall it's in Polish however you can notice cames by Disney characters most notably Quasiomodo & Co, a man in a horrible Bambi costume and at one point a character has a flash back of audition for Mulan she had in Paris Disneyland (note that "Disney" it's spell "Disnej" in the story which is a phonetic joke)

If anybody could coment on the art I would be more then happy to here the critism :)

A fan art I made for Spill.com (one of the members made a movie and everybody makes jokes about how rich he become) with a "small" Uncle Scrooge refrence...

I'm afraid I never heard of that before myself. If you don't mind me asking, what program did you use to make it, because if it is done in paint, then it is pretty good considering. I hate that program myself haha. One thing I noticed is that it may have been your intention, but there is no shadows except for a little bit of black. Also outside, you have different colouring to show the different lighting, which is great, except for the eyes which is a quite jarring.

By the way everyone, I decided to show a sketch of my own! This is probably about the fifth time I've drawn Disney ducks or so, so it is still in a completely different and new style to me. This sketch didn't turn out quite how I wanted it, so I was going to abandon it, but it started to grow on me. I am still probably not going to colour it, but you never know. Excuse the top hat, I am terrible at drawing them. Also I am glad that his feet don't show up here; I tried drawing them a couple times and they turned out horrible! It must be the must difficult area to get right I think.
