I think you all like this, I just made it! (Don't pay too much attention to the sloppyness, it all started as a little doodle!)

That Barks is quite young to be drawing Scrooge McDuck, especially the 1953 and later Scrooge. I'd guess that aged Carl Barks would be drawing a gag for Coo-Coo Magazine!
David K
Uh... Of course! I was just TESTING you!

It looks like Barks drawing a... Jippes Scrooge. It looks really good David, it only looks more like a Jippes to me.
David K
Ok thanks! However, I don't really see the Jippishness in it. What makes you think that it looks Jippish? I thought it was quite Barksistic (or just David Kopsificationism)

Note that Carl Barks only started wearing glasses around 1960...

The shape of Scrooge's beak looks more like Daan jippes' work than that of Barks.
David K
But the whole picture doesn't look like Jippes at all!

Nice drawings everyone! Sim your two first drawings on post #681 is very good and the second Donald Duck drawing reminds me a little of Massimo Fecchi's drawing style. Your own character there also looks interesting and your recent drawing also looks great but the legs could be a little bit longer ;).
Dutch Duckfan Down Under, your Rapunzel drawing was hilarious - I was scrolling and scrolling until I reached the bottom just to find poor Carl (Duck?).
Sorry David Kops, but even if it's a magnificent drawing Scrooge looks like Jippes' to me too and I must concur with Robb_K that is probably because of the beak (and also the eyes and the spacing between them) . And the young Barks is spot on I think. By the way, did I say the drawing was great. :)
I must say, Arnaud, you have a very interesting drawing style which makes Donald and Scrooge to look really cool. When I look at it, the drawing makes me think that it belongs to a new "should-be-done" Disney Project of some sort. I don't know what but something that has your drawing style.

And then I found he also has the last name as the main family in Mary Poppins. :)
