I'll try to be short :D I used to draw games and jokes for french Disney publications such as Picsou Magazine, Super Picsou Géant or Mickey Jeux. It was great fun and it lasted seven years, but I wasn't allowed to draw Disney characters because my art style is way too much different. Then I directed an exhibit for Angoulême's comics festival about Scooge McDuck, lots of work, huge success but many arguments too - so I leaved Picsou Mag not too long after that (in fact I didn't had the choice). Then I studied animation in Canada and finally I drew many comics for Pif Gadget (another french comics magazine). Right now I'll probably go back to animation, but I keep on drawing characters that I like (such as Scrooge or Donald Duck).
Good to know that you're still drawing ! I'll take a look at your art down here, and I hope someday you'll draw comics for Disney.

Very nice art, David! But, I don't get Sim's joke. The Crook was fooled by the ordinary citizen. He stole a wallet, but there was no money in it. I get that. Then, The Crook stands near the same man, leaving the wallet sticking out of his rear pocket, tempting him to take back his own wallet. The note in it says that the crook fooled the man. How was the man fooled? I don't see how he was fooled. he was curious about the paper inside. I suppose he was fooled because he didn't expect someone to tell him, erroniously, (in a note) that HE was fooled. So, he got a surprise. But I wouldn't term that "getting fooled"; and, more importantly, I don't think it is funny. But, the art is very nice, old fashioned, and stylish.

Nice work, Steet. The characters look pretty good just standing. But when they are moving, they look too stiff. They aren't really doing what you want them to do. They need to be more dynamic. Try to sketch them with a line of action, to make their body parts move correctly.
