At the risk of sounding like a stupid and utterly anal purist (because I really try not to be one of those types)...
I wish that Gemstone had kept his original name of Slackjaw SnoreMORE. It just plain sounds AND rolls off the tongue better. If Slackjaw himself weren't such a minor character I'd be tempted to call that one of Gemstone's very few big blunders when it came to translation and localization issues.
But I guess if Lars doesn't complain about it its not THAT big a deal I suppose

I actually think "Snorehead" rolls better off the tongue. But on the other hand, "Snoremore" seems to be a nicer name. "Snorehead" does sound like a stupid name, even for a comic character.

Well I like "Snorehead" better than "Snoremore" mostly because it more of an actual word - it has even been used in a Carl Barks story: "Watching the Watchman". It's on the last panel.

An oil painting of Scrooge:

I have painted mountains before and thought it could be a nice setting for Scrooge on his gold hunt.

Done in splendid Barks fashion, Quackberg!
Great MM drawing too, Vobo; unfortunately I can't see what I suppose was the colored version in the previous message (not even a "red cross").
I love the painting, too. What size is it?

Yes, it was supposed to be the coloured version, but it has disappeared somehow, don't know why?
The oil painting measures 50cm x 60cm

Quote from user: Roger NorthThat is a cool painting of Scrooge. It looks like the cover of Uncle Scrooge #292.
Thank you, Roger.
That may very well be, I don't recall the cover, but have of course looked at different drawings to find that happy
moment where Scrooge hits the jackpot. And I definately used one of DR's drawings as a guide/inspiration.
