When those two pages will be printed, I don't know, they accepted them.
Congrats.

Feliciterd Tim, op je opdrachten met Sanoma!
I knew you would be working for them soon. I hope you will get to draw the printed version of Frank's Christmas story. It looks great as it is. So, - now both you and Henrieke are in. A new generation of artists is forming. I need to get my rear end in gear and join you (before I turn 70 years old!)!

Congratulations, McDuck Menu! I love your pages.
I, too, like Ben Verhagen's art a lot, by the way.

Most of the last half-page looks very good. But, The Nephews' closed fists (hands) in the last panel look awkward and wrong.
The inking is very good, - especially for someone who has done as few pages as you have.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I intended to draw mittens/gloves on them, but they became a bit too small.

I don't quite get whether "Pluckahontas" is supposed to be some sort of waterfowl-related pun or what, but the fact remains: Good lord that's awesome.

I think Pluckahontas is an obvious spoof of Pocahontas.

Um, yes. I got THAT much. The question (not that it's a particularly pressing question) is, what does "pluck" have to do with anything?

It's a waterfowl-related pun??insofar as most barnyard birds are plucked before preparation for dinner.
I hope Pluckahontas didn't end up as someone's substitute for a Thanksgiving turkey. (-:

That possibility had occurred to me--seems somewhat macabre, however...

She looks "tasteful" enough for me, to invite for a dinner for two! Wonder if I have to supplement, if there's not enough meat...
Nah - distasteful joke aside, you've managed to hit the Barks-line very well !
On the other hand (pun pun) the left hand (flightfeathers) looks Rosa'isk, somehow?
Great work, thou' - why don't you make a profession of this? C'mon, BOOM - make some new DD's for us !!

Well, I'm glad you like it and I at least kinda like the duck-related pun on Pocahontas.

It's great that you think that it is some Barks-lines in there and when you think of the "Rosa (and Barks) Indian feather" - I had inspiration from the Pygmy Indians' big feathers - perhaps that's what you were thinking of?
And also I have mailed in a short comic I made to the publisher Egmont but I haven't heard nothing from them for a while now.

Persevere, I want read you one day in a Disney comic story.
Robb_k, I noticed that I prefer your drawings not inked. After, the quality of pictures don't permite to see the line correctly...
