What is a Kraken?

It seems that the kraken was a semi-mythical creature-an exaggeration of stories of myths whose origins were based on actual observations of giant squids. Some of the stories seem to have the ring of (at least) a basis of truth to them.

I did see & read this before writing them, but what I'm submitting is not story material (art or script-- or cover, for that matter), but essays, which I doubt they receive in spadeloads.
Since they're working on hardcover books, shouldn't they want to have a couple of pages about the stories?

(My apologies for the off topic discussion, for which we should create a new thread to develop it.)

There's always the Lusca of the Caribbean... a supposed giant octopus. There's a show on the SyFy channel here in the USA called "Destination Truth." The host actually may have found one in an underground waterway... he ran out of oxygen before he could get any clear photos. Interesting stuff. The oceans of the world are largely unexplored -- who knows what's out there?

ANYWAY... total thread derailment.

Hopefully will be posting some new art based on the Mickey classic "Lonesome Ghosts" sometime tomorrow. ;)

Ah, but some would argue that Webby isn't part of canon, as she didn't exist in Barks' comics. ;)

For the record, I do like DuckTales and Darkwing Duck. The Webby bit was just a joke I was contemplating, but decided against. Definitely not canon. No worries. She's alive and well. ;)
I mean "Duck Tales" canon, not Barks canon. And yeah, I know it was just a joke. I have to agree with your wife about it though.

We wrote and complained, but I'm not sure if it will do any good. Apparently these watches are mass produced, so who knows how many are actually out there?

I supposed I should feel a little flattered. I mean, of all the official artwork on the internet they could've stolen, they picked my fan art. But I'm also angry because, well, the STOLE MY ART. :(
Well, your fanart is so good, that they maybe thought it was official art. ;)

HooZoo isn't 100% factual, though. Some of the information found there has been made up by the maintainer. Think of it as fanfic.
