Again, very nice drawings, Tim. The beagle Boys look just as if Barks had drawn them. The inking looks very good. I hope that Sanoma will start using you very soon.
Only one slight critique. I don't like the curve of Scrooge's beak in the drawing of him on the right side. It is just a matter of style. That is a typical Vicar interpretation. Somehow, at least to me, it does not portray the emotion correctly. Desperation seems to be what you had in mind. I think that the curve of his beak needs to be opened more widely at the "back of his mouth". Your line has "flattened" it (e.g. there is a very, very small straight line, instead of continuing the curve's arc fully around). That flaw is almost imperceptible on first glance, but it makes all the difference in the onlooker feeling that Scrooge is not really desperate.

Great background! But, as you said, you need to make a bigger difference in line thickness between Scrooge (up front-closer to camera) and the buttes (much farther back in the distance). The cabin and outhouse and big bush should be a thickness about halfway between. You don't need to show ALL the lines. Look at Barks. He only showed a "suggestion" of the texture (portion of the whole area covered). The east-west (horizontal) portion of the chasm (narrow canyon) looks good, but the north-south (vertical) portion of it is TOO REGULAR. It looks like a giant feather. The distance between lines should be IRREGULAR (vary). Nature doesn't generally place things at exact same distances. The eye is pulled to regular shapes that are not expected to be seen in nature.
