Hi all!
Today I updated the "Links-section" on my "The D.U.C.K.man"-pages. During this process I discovered several pages which have been moved lately and also several dead links. I accept that pages must move from time to time, but some seems to move more often than other ? for example I.N.D.U.C.K.S. As long as the old address points to the new address this is not that bad. What is bad is when unserious companies quits their WEB-host services so that such pointing can't be done (I have experienced this with my "Don Rosa in Scandinavia" pages) ? or when unserious persons move their pages without linking from their old to their new address (The German Jano Rohleder seems to have done this with his "Duckmania-pages"). Can anyone here tell me if he still has an English version?
Why do I complain about this? I tell you why! Dead links make my links-section look bad and unserious, and I don't like to be blamed for other people's flaws.

No... the 1992 script was adapted and published
in 1999, two years *after* her first appearance in B 960233

the beginning.

No... the 1992 script was adapted and published

Well - I really don't want to seem unserious. In fact I'm very angry about
the many server changes of DuckMania myself but I can't do anything about it
as long as I'm using the free service provided by "splashpages". They never
told me in advance when they stopped a server and everytime I had to ask for
it before DuckMania could get online again.
If you want to get sure you've got a link that will never be broken (and
also a site containing the latest updates) - use my mirror site
http://donrosa.free.fr/english/ for the international version and
http://donrosa.free.fr/ for the German one.
You can also link to DuckMania via the tld-redirections
www.duckmania.de/english and www.donrosa.de/english which will always link

SERIOUS web-space provider. I will personally recommend our
Danish friend Thomas Lauritsen who is into Disney-pages himself
and thus NEVER will harm anyone's Disney-pages.

host more websites than I already do. I am on my way to run out of disc
space on the server, so I wouldn't take any chances of "letting any more
in". (of course if anyone would sponsor a new hard disk, we could talk
about it ;-)

Hehe, I had that feeling Thomas :-) Hosting the COA is not a small
thing. However, *I* have space left (more than 2 GB), so if someone is
interested I can certainly host he or she for free, however, you must
have a domain name (like my-domain.com) registered somewhere.

Hi!
I didn't notice either that there were problems with free.fr...
I think free.fr is a good server (no pop-ups, enough space, and absolutely free, as its name indicates it...). I already spend much more time than I should with my website (although i don't update it very often, I can tell you I spend hours building new sections, designs,...). So i really don't think i'll lose time in search for a new server,... I only update my links section when i update the full site, because i don't have enough time.Moreover, i have to share my computer with my roommate, so when i hopefully have the computer, i'm only working on my new sections and nothing else...
But thank you, Sigvald, for your advices. I hope you'll understand i also have my studies and... a girlfriend, which also takes me sooooooooo much time :-)
Now i'll stop with the offtopic and tell you bye, dcmailers!!!

A really interesting news, from the italian convention "Lucca Comics &
Games 2002".
Disney Italia has published the fifth volume of "Tesori" which presents some
rare stories by Barks:
DD in "Darkest Africa" (W MOC 20-01), with an article by L. Boschi;
DD in "Forbidden Valley" (W DD 54-01), with an article by A. Becattini;
HDL the JW in "Eagle savers" (H 99044) [drawings by Jippes];
DD in "Race to the South Seas!" (W MOC 41-01).
"Darkest Africa" is published in English and Italian, the other three
stories in Italian only.
Hardcovered edition, 128 pages, 15 euro. A softcover edition will probably
hit the stands in the next weeks, with lesser price (about 9-10 euro ?)
"Darkest Africa" is published in the uncensored form, with sharp teeth and
big lips cannibals... It isn't the Jippes/Vlottes version but the original
one by Barks. The reproduction quality is pretty good but not perfect
because - as said in the introductory article - originals are practically
lost and publishers have to deal with photocopies and old comics

Hi all!
Our French friend Gilles Maurice has very recently discovered the existence of this website:

which is maintained by a Mr Antonios N. Basoukos. The site exists
in both English and Greek versions. Both his last name and his
choice of languages proves beyond reasonable doubt that he is GREEK.

Normally I mostly feel flattered when people are copying stuff
from my pages, *but* after being "heavily bombed" with viruses
for a long time from somewhere in Greece I don't think this is
very funny. I even suspect this guy for being identical with the
"virus-terrorist". I therefore hope that Apostolis, Kriton and
other SERIOUS Greeks at DCML within reasonable time, will do the
necessary research in order to determine if this "WEB-thief" is
identical with the "virus-terrorist" or not.

Which leads me to my second point. You keep refering to the virus
"attacker" in singularis. There are *many* computers that are infected
at the same time, not only by this virus, but by many. Every day I
receive virus infected mails that can be traced to several different
countries, even different from day to day. And even though "your"
viruses may all come from Greece (have you even had more than a few
checked?) computer viruses (more or less like their biological
counterparts) often spread in geographical waves. Therefore you are
probably not attacked by one single computer.
And now, let's not discuss this off-topic matter anymore. People are
getting seriously tired of it.
BTW, if you really want to get rid of the viruses (or rather be able to
ignore them), change your mail program into a non-Microsoft one.
